Isn't it amazing what brilliant minds can accomplish with a seemingly simple set of bricks? The Indian International School - DSO's Nanobyte team showcased exceptional imagination, innovation and teamwork at the highly competitive First Lego League 2023-2024 Abu Dhabi Region, emerging as the overall champions out of 33 competing schools!

Expertly combining a knowledge of robotics with the creative flexibility of Lego bricks, the team also secured the prestigious first runner-up position in the Robot Performance Award.

Budding geniuses came together to compete in the First Lego League challenge, a robotics competition that encourages exploration of STEM concepts through hands-on experiences.

The members of the triumphant Nanobyte team are Vignesh Magesh Gurumurthy (8A), Vihaan Kalia (7C), Daniyal Riyaz Baluwala (9G), Mohammed Faaz Aslam (9C), Anjali Ashok (8H), Sanvi Sisodia (8G), Miliroyil Iniyavan (8F), Aadhishankar Arun (8G), Dhruv Shanbhoge (8G) and Sidhiksha Ahilesh (8D).

Nanobyte has also earned a coveted spot among the top seven teams selected to advance to the Nationals round. This incredible achievement is a testament to the team's dedication, ingenuity, and perseverance. We heartily congratulate Nanobyte and wish the team all the best for the national stage!
