Future fluency is when students are prepared for the future, are able and willing to embrace continuous innovation, seek out fresh perspectives, harness the power of technology and innovation, and prosper through constant change. Future-fluent students often think, learn, feel, and act differently. We accomplish this at IIS by leveraging technology to create new knowledge, new challenges and new problems and to complement these with critical thinking, complex problem solving and social intelligence to solve new challenges.

Coding: This is the language of creativity today. All our children deserve a chance to become creators instead of consumers of computer science” and at IIS we ensure Coding as a part of the computer science subject which is integrated in the school timetable across all grades creating a mindset and capability set around continuous learning, digitalization, agility, resilience, innovation, collaboration, etc.

Project Based Learning (PBL): At IIS we believe that students require deeper knowledge through active exploration of real world challenges and problems, in order to cater this we have Project Based Learning, under the framework of STEAM, which uses 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. It also develops the child's ability to work with his or her peers, building teamwork and group skills.

Making Coding Project: brings computer science to life for all students with fun projects, immediate results, and both block and text editors for learners at different levels.

Online resources and platforms such as Tabbie Math, Achieve 3000, Rosen Level-Up, I Start/Read Arabic access given to students to enhance their subject specific skills.

Our Little Explorers at Kindergarten gives our young learners ample opportunities to ignite their innovation by engaging them at Innovation Station, Legos- Bricks and Blocks, Recycling Station, Gizmo Corner - tab world.

Innovation Week activities such as Go Green- Best out of waste, Tech Week, Robotics, Genius Hour Project etc. aims to magnify students’ creative ideas which inspires them to think big.

With the tag line,
‘‘We are the next generation. What we learn is our creation!’’
we encourage our students to formulate and create ideas and invent, making them true 21st century learners.
