The Warriors’ day out at The Indian International School – DSO

As the clock ticked 11am in January, this year, heartbeats of the quiet auditorium of The Indian International School filled with sports enthusiasts were racing, waiting vividly to meet and greet the stars of the Sharjah Warriors International League T20 (ILT20) 2023 Squad, Mr. Joe Denly and Mr Alishan Sharafu.

A thundering applause, a SHOUT OUT by the vibrant joyful audience followed by a warm rendezvous with the former England International, Mr Joe Denly and UAE cricketer, Mr Alishan Sharafu and a quick yet lively interview of the Sharjah Warriors taken by the students, left everyone astounded, wanting more.

The entire event gave a rare display of the thrill and energy of the young spectators from The Indian High Group of Schools at the The Indian International School cricket pitch, where the two Sharjah Warriors were greeted by their mini-team members, who later bowled and fielded for their favourite leaders. The team was felicitated and the historic event closed with their autographs and giving away of their sports T-shirts to all.
