IIS DSO Team Strikes Gold Duo from The Indian International School, DSO Wins Gold in the Dubai Schools Games – Badminton Championship

The smashing duo of Nihal Sameer Pari of grade 10 D and Harshitha Sathish Babu of grade 10 A, wrested the first position in the mixed doubles Badminton tournament. They were playing against Our Own Indian School, Dubai in the Dubai Schools Games - Badminton Championships - U15, organized by Dubai Sports Council. The final round was held at Baseline sports academy on 16th June 2022, with over 25 schools and 328 athletes participating in this prestigious sports event.

The Dubai School Games, which is an initiative of the Dubai Sports Council in line with the U.A.E Centennial 2071. It focuses on investing in the U.A.E youth with the vision of helping educational institutions find and nurture Olympic success. The event also aims to develop sports in the school sector since schools are considered the solid base of the sports pyramid from where promising talents are scouted to attain international achievements. The school is honoured to participate in such a unique and exclusive platform provided by Dubai Schools Games.
