The Tennis Stars of The Indian International School – DSO

The brilliance of The Indian International School - DSO, students continues - and this time in lawn tennis!

Swana Athithi Muthulingam from grade 9 and Kathryn Stella D’silva from grade 8 secured 2nd position on 25th Nov 2022, in the category of U-19 Lawn Tennis for Girls at the 19th edition of BITS Sports Festival. This was a five day long sporting extravaganza organised by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, Dubai Campus showcasing 5,000 participants from 34 universities across the UAE, in the esteemed presence of international sports personalities like Ms. Mary Kom (World’s Women Boxing Champion) who was also the chief guest for the closing ceremony 2022-23.

In an outstanding performance and show of strength - The Indian International School - DSO tennis stars bounced back in the semi-finals and trounced the team from Delhi Public School, Sharjah.
