The Indian International School – DSO chess prodigy wins multiple tournaments

It is a proud moment for The Indian International School - DSO as Sampreet Sudheer of Grade 8 has brought laurels to the school by bagging 1st and 2nd positions in various domestic and international chess tournaments.

He won the 1st Prize in the Junior U12 Blitz Champion Trophy in the International Chess Day Blitz tournament, held on July 20th, 2022 on the eve of International Chess Day.

He also grabbed a medal and cash prize for securing the Top rank under 15 in the Open Blitz tournament.

Continuing his winning streak, Sampreet has secured 2nd place in the Fischer-Spassky 50th Anniversary Classical U12 Tournament held from 26th August to 2nd September 2022 at Sharjah Chess and cultural club. He also secured the 2nd place in the All-Kerala Chess tournament, held on 3rd July 2022 at Thrissur, Kerala.
